Kevin has been an insurance advisor since 1998 helping employers buy and administer their employee benefit programs. He has the experience and knowledge to negotiate comprehensive and competitive benefit programs. In addition, he assists his customers stay compliant with both state and federal legislation. He graduated from Murray State University in Murray, KY with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He has officiated college basketball since the early 1990’s at the Division I level. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his son’s athletics.
Warren Phillips is the son of Al Phillips. Much like his father, Warren has spent the majority of his career in the insurance industry. Warren graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1983. Starting in 1988, Warren was the Sr. Vice President of Al Phillips Insurance Agency, specializing in Surety bonds. With the Brown & Brown acquisition, Warren still holds the title of Sr. Vice President and runs our surety bonds division with Brown & Brown of Tennessee. Warren is an avid fan of the Vanderbilt Commodores and has worked at the scores table for their basketball teams for over 30 years.
Franklin Lee Spann graduated from Huntington College in Montgomery, AL in 1977 and, like his brother Jack, joined the family insurance business shortly after that. Lee serves as Vice President of Spann Insurance, a division of Brown & Brown of Tennessee, Inc. He is the general manager of insurance operations for the business. Lee handles operations for personal and commercial insurance and also assists the surety bond operations. After joining the family business, Lee attended Safeco Personal Lines School in Seattle, WA where he received Safeco’s annual award of excellence designation. Over his 40-year career in insurance, Lee has served on multiple agency council committees for companies including: Safeco, Pennsylvania National and Main Street America (formerly National Grange Mutual). He currently serves on Main Street America’s Southeastern Regional Agents Council. Lee enjoys traveling and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Frank is a Commercial Lines Producer for Spann Insurance, a Division of Brown & Brown Insurance of Tennessee based in the Nashville (Berry Hill) office. He takes a consultative approach to structure insurance programs that meet the needs of business owners. Frank has been in the insurance business since graduating from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Business Management in 1987. He earned the Certified Insurance Counselor Designation in 1993 and the Certified Risk Manager Designation in 2006. A native Nashvillian, Frank has a wife (Katie) and three daughters (Caroline, Christina and Ashley). He and his family are active members of Saint Henry Parish. He also enjoys serving others through activities with Charitable Constructors, Knights of Columbus and Saint Henry’s Men’s Club. When time allows, Frank enjoys golf and attending sporting events.
